The bailiff

  • I have received a notice visit from the tax bailiff.

The bailiff will visit on the date shown in the letter. The file is now with the bailiff. At this stage, we cannot agree any payment plans or make other agreements with you. You must be home at the time when the bailiff visits. You can make further agreements with the bailiff.

  • I have paid following the letter announcing a visit. Will the bailiff now still come?

If you have paid, you should always take account of a processing time of at least two working days. If GGN invoned has received the payment, the bailiff will be notified of this by telephone. Whether the bailiff can be recalled in time therefore depends on the date of payment and the date of receipt by GGN invoned. You should therefore pay as soon as possible after receiving the letter announcing the bailiff?s visit.

  • My home contents and/or car have been seized.

The bailiff has left a ?seizure of movable property? statement with you. This statement states when the seized property will be sold. You should contact us as soon as possible to prevent this sale taking place. The seizure can only be withdrawn through payment of the full amount that has been garnished, and the accompanying costs, to bank account No. IBAN NL68 INGB 0003086403 in the name of GGN Mastering Credit NV, stating the payment reference. Payment is also possible via iDEAL. In this way, you can prevent the sale of your home contents or car.

  • My real estate has been seized.

The bailiff has left a ?seizure of real estate? statement with you. This statement shows which real estate has been seized. This seizure is also recorded in the Land Register and is served on the mortgage provider. You should contact us as soon as possible to avoid the sale of the real estate. The seizure can only be withdrawn through payment of the full amount that has been garnished, and the accompanying costs, to bank account No. IBAN NL68 INGB 0003086403 in the name of GGN Mastering Credit NV, stating the payment reference. Payment is also possible via iDEAL. In this way, you can prevent the sale of your real estate.

  • My bank account has been attached.

The bailiff has notified you that your bank account(s) have been attached. Formally speaking, the bailiff has served a garnishee order on you. In contrast to the garnishment of a salary, no part of the amount in your bank account(s) is excluded from the attachment. The attachment covers everything in your account(s). For that reason, this attachment in principle also covers amounts from benefits that are not subject to attachment (such as child benefits and student loans). Payments made into your account after the attachment are not covered by the attachment. Generally, a bank will block the account as a result of the attachment. You must therefore contact your bank in order to regain access to your account as soon as possible.
